The debutante’s parents planned the entire party themselves, and brought in lots of tents and decorations to transform their house into a Brazilian carnival.
A masked doorman greeted guests at the party entrance and filled them in on the extensive menu with a poster just as tall as he was.
Tiny candles in wire candelabras lined the walkways. The bright pink, green, blue, and purple ribbons added even more color to the party.
Stiltwalkers dressed in costume handed out candy and other goodies during the party.
Confetti launchers showered Heather and her friends during the presentation portion of the party.
In keeping with the party’s theme, guests drank limeade, a popular beverage in Brazil.
Guests chose from a variety of food stations. One of the biggest hits? The French fry bar featuring all different kinds of dipping sauces.
People also partied on the tent-covered tennis courts. The tables were topped in neon tablecloths and finished with black table skirts so that the tables appeared to float under the light of the centerpieces.
Everyone at the party was encouraged to come dressed in bright-colored clothes, and wear masks too.
