The red-carpet entrance to Eric’s bar mitzvah got guests into the rock ’n’ roll theme right from the start.
On the red carpet, each guest received a VIP backstage pass, which also served as their seating card.
A photo mosaic of Eric made up of more than 2,000 pics was placed in the main lobby and created a memorable first impression.
The under-21 party guests were served nonalcoholic welcome drinks in martini glasses, complete with cherries and glow sticks.
The color scheme of the party was red, white, and black. Zebra-printed linens covered the tables and were accented with black napkins and red rose centerpieces.
To create a rock ’n’ roll vibe, each table was highlighted with pin-spot lighting, and sheer, red uplit fabric hung from the balconies down to the main floor.
A four-tiered chocolate fountain was the main attraction of the dessert station. Pretzels, fruit, and marshmallows -- some strawberry- and coconut-flavored -- were offered for dipping. At 10 p.m. the staff brought out warm, straight-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookies will shot glasses of cold milk. Chef Russell Booth from Hard Rock Live took care of all the catering.
Instead of a guest book, Eric’s guests signed his guitar, which perfectly fit the party’s theme.
Eric’s favorite candies were displayed in clear jars for his guests to munch on at the party and take home as a late-night snack.
In addition to a DJ and airbrush tattoo artists, the Flipbook People set up shop, and guests recorded their own seven-second video clips as an alternative to a photo booth.
The Flipbook People turned the clips into flipbooks for guests to take home.
