The bar mitzvah boy wore a brightly colored tallis for the service.
Colorful balloons lined the turnstile entryway, and a brightly lit sign welcomed guests to the "House of Fun."
Custom-designed pennants, decorated with the party’s carnival logo, hung from chain-link fencing to create an authentic look.
The party was set up with different carnival booths, including a fortune-teller, double basketball shoot, Dance Dance Revolution, and a party hat display where guests could create fabulous and outrageous hats to wear and take home afterward.
Colorful pillows popped against white lounge furniture in the exclusive "VIP area" for the bar mitzvah boy‘s friends.
Swags of bright blue, green, orange, and purple fabric created a canopy effect over the white, high-gloss dance floor.
Each table featured an over-the-top carnival game, a roller-coaster, or a Ferris wheel as its centerpiece. The Ferris wheel was personalized with small photos of the bar mitzvah boy sitting in each seat.
Guests returned home with loads of carnival party favors -- stuffed-animal prizes from the games, caricatures, photo strips from a photo booth, and crazy party hats.
