The dinner took place beneath a tent just outside of Arlington Hall at Lee Park (where Blake had proposed).
Nicole and Blake designed their own monogram, which appeared on the details and decor throughout the wedding weekend. They paired it with a gold, cream, and peach damask pattern.
The escort cards for the rehearsal dinner were set on top of a table covered with amber linens and gold, peach, and chocolate-colored ribbon.
Warm colors set the tone for the intimate rehearsal dinner. The menu cards were mounted onto terra cotta-colored card stock.
The welcome party, themed “Blake and Nicole’s Favorite Things,” had all of Nicole and Blake’s favorite foods set up at stations and placed in different sections of Arlington Hall.
Upon entering the welcome party, each guest received a map of the food stations.
The welcome party maps were set up on a table with a photo of the couple.
The patio tables were topped with cymbidium orchids in vases filled with submerged peppers and fruits.
Guests mingled as they walked through the hall’s rooms and patios to visit the different food stations. Strands of twinkling lights added a romantic touch to the outdoor patio areas.
Because the cake is such a big part of the wedding day, Nicole and Blake decided not to get one for the welcome party. Instead, they ordered a large dessert display, which included a gelato cart!
Peach ribbon was tied around the favor boxes to match the party’s color palette. Inside were candles and matchbooks that read, “Come on baby light my fire!”
