This festive first birthday party had all the bright moves! Cheery shades of orange, yellow, blue, and green made their way into almost every detail, from the green pails with goodies to the tasty polka-dot cupcakes.

Here’s a fun idea: Stash take-home treats in easy-to-carry-away painted pails. Each one had the guest’s name written on it.
Pails were filled with starfish lollipops, glow balls, and other special treats for the girls and guys. On top of that, girls got sequined hairclips, gerbera daisies, and frog goggles, while the boys took away shark swim goggles, action figures, and dinosaur flash cards.
During the party, butterfly puppets provided a fun distraction.
The birthday girl is clearly a trendsetter in the making -- she wore bright red Chuck Taylors with her party dress!
Yum! Guests gobbled up cupcakes with buttercream frosting and colorful polka dots. Worried about allergies? Try a recipe without eggs!
After the birthday girl opened her gifts, the kids played with all of her new goodies while the grown-ups hung around to watch the Red Sox game!
