Guests received custom-made passport invitations, which were surrounded by moss in mini green suitcases. Upon entry they were stamped with a country that served as their designated table.
Bananas, limes, and tropical flowers overflowed from the twig basket centerpieces. Mock bamboo silverware, wicker chargers, and animal-print napkin rings completed the tropical look.
Tiny nests made from twigs, moss, and orchids adorned with origami grasshoppers crafted from exotic leaves surrounded the centerpieces.
Animal-print couches and ottomans filled the balcony, along with palm trees, a coconut carver, African drummers, and live, exotic animals.
Before dinner, guests mingled on the balcony and enjoyed a seafood bar featuring shrimp and mussels.
A favorite of the night was a cake topped with an edible cobra -- guests loved how real it looked.
Aside from the cake, guests snacked on treats from a gigantic candy buffet and a Cold Stone Creamery bar.
African drummers dressed in traditional garb set the mood for this jungle-themed party.
